HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY
Thank you to all our participants for this year's edition of the Women in Art exhibition! This annual showcase aims to highlight our female creatives in celebration of International Women's Day at the heart of The Rocks.
In succession of last year's exhilarating exhibit, the Women in Art 2024 exhibition celebrates International Women’s Day 2024 by showcasing a collection of talented emerging and established female artists from Sydney and worldwide. To highlight the significance of women’s achievements through art, the exhibit aims to raise awareness for gender disparity within representations through elevating the visibility of women creatives. Run by an all-women gallery team with leading gallery director and international award-winning artist Shazia Imran, the team is greatly passionate about the importance of noting women’s influence and capabilities within a creative industry. By displaying a dynamic and diverse collection of international and Australian female artists, we hope to support and motivate such creatives on a monumental scale.
