Inspired by legendary Anarkali, this work captures the famous 16th-century legend of the complex love story between Anarkali and Mughal Prince Salim. Her beauty was one of her most noted traits within the story and was the inspiration for the traditional Anarkali dress worn by Pakistani women seen today.

The frame is approximately 1cm and there is an approximate 0.5cm gap between the frame and the canvas to give the shadow line effect.
